What microneedling does
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate your body’s natural healing response and boost collagen and elastin production. Over time that improves texture, softens fine lines, reduces scars and strengthens overall skin structure.
At NP Empowered Wellness in Roseville, CA, microneedling is a minimally invasive option for smoother, firmer, healthier-looking skin with little downtime. It is the Rebuild layer of the Cake System, the step that strengthens the skin from within.
I can add regenerative enhancements to a session when they fit your goals. Your treatment plan is flexible and layered, and I guide the sequencing so nothing is overdone.

Avoid retinoids, exfoliants and active skincare for 3 to 5 days beforehand. Come with clean skin, and avoid sunburn, irritation or recent aggressive treatments before your appointment.
What should I do after microneedling?
Keep skin clean, hydrated and protected. Avoid makeup, sweating, heat and active skincare products for 24 to 72 hours, and use gentle, barrier-supporting products with daily SPF. Skip actives for 7 days in total.

How often should I get microneedling?
A series of 3 to 4 treatments about 4 weeks apart is recommended to build collagen and improve overall skin quality. After the series, treatments can be repeated every 3 to 4 months for maintenance, depending on your goals and response.
When will I see results?
An initial glow and smoothness may appear within a few days, with continued improvement in texture, tone and firmness over 4 to 6 weeks as collagen production increases.
How much does microneedling cost in Roseville?
Microneedling at NP Empowered Wellness starts at $500. Add-ons such as PDRN, PDGF or the Dermalogica Exo Booster are discussed at your consult. Cherry and CareCredit payment plans are available.
Who should not have microneedling?
It may not be appropriate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection or open wound in the treatment area, have a keloid history, are in active chemotherapy or radiation, or have certain uncontrolled medical conditions.
